  4. I have discovered Brightside Brewery in Radcliffe, North Manchester. Their Nemo 0.5% IPA is top.

  5. I've been drinking the E5 beer. I've checked all my pipework, and it still seems to be OK, but I still remain a bit hesitant about the E10 you can now get. Do I need to replace anything before drinking that?

  8. Don't know what the source of that info is, but I'd suggest thats more relevant to low alcohol beers. I tend stick to alcohol free that always state 0.0% content. Just personal choice for me, but people with medical reasons to avoid alcohol might be a bit narked by alcohol free labels that are nothing of the sort.
Imagine the furore if nut free foods actually had nuts in? The allergy police would be all over it.

I do remember many moons ago (early/mid 80s) the lady at the checkout in Sainsbury's refusing to let me buy a Shandy Bass - think the alcohol content was 0.5% I had bought it on other occasions, but that one refusal still stands out.

  10. This is from the Drinkaware website, I'd like to think they know what they are talking about......in UK law alcohol free beer must contain less than 0.05%, (not 0.5%) I'd think 0.05% is deemed to be 'trace' whereas 0.5% is measurable content?
