Besides Flakey and me who else will be watching Le Mans all weeken

  1. Went back in the 1990s - the year the Merc ended up in a tree! Wonderful experience - the noise and spectacle is just awesome!

    Too mean to have Sky etc. is there any coverage on free view?

  4. I think you can subscribe to eurosports internet feed for a few quid or I'm sure it'll be streamed for free somewhere else too.

    I'm all packed ready to leave tomorrow after work at midday.

    So it's Toyota, Porsche, Toyota, Porsche after final qualifying.
     
  7. Such a shame Porsche didn't clinch pole on their comeback year.

    Even more impressive is the garage 59 car, the Nissan Zeod qualified at 27. Fingers crossed that the torpedo goes further this year.

    Love the fact that the circuit is so big it can be *******ing down on the Mulsane and sunny on the pit straight, keeps them on their toes.

    Shame the ZEOD only lasted 5 laps before its gearbox failed.

    Porsche shredded a back tyre and limped back to the pits by which time there was a little fire burning under the back end, they didn't put the fire out straight away until they'd refuelled it first?
    You don't get that in F1

    Quite amazing, the Toyota TS040-Hybrid is putting about around 1000 bhp :eek:
    The Twitter feed from the big 3 has been interesting to follow.

    Just 3 1/2 hours to go, Audi 1 and a half minutes behind Porsche and closing!

    It's going to be a close finish if the Porsche can keep going, turbo problem on the #1 Audi
