Thanks for the comments, we have had a re think, and are going to keep her, with the Eriba we should have enough space! (Wilmas will keep an eye out for you!!).

We will shortly be booking our crossing to Europe for the summer and think we will "wing it" and just book the return tunnel crossing and see where abouts we end up.

Brucieboy if the comment was meant for me, its on a T2d front beam with adjuster and just lowered one spline on the back, you get a little bit of camber on the rear wheels but it drives fine and isn't too bumpy.

I'd just like to point out that when we got our Devon, the previous fellow had called it Bertha which we stuck with for a few years until a particularly enthusiastic bout of weight saving. After drilling all the knives and forks etc, I changed the van's name to Ertha. Discarding the B has shaved valuable hundredths off the 0-60 time and consistently helps with fuel economy.

 

Wise decision.. Great combo with the Eriba...very nice..

 

Well sadly times change. .. the kids are growing and it's time for Bertha to find a new home. Can anyone give me a sensible asking price.

 

You got this all wrong,,kids growing up is a happy thing. my twins been camping with us for many years, they turn 18 this summer and still love it

 

Its the only thing they will want shortly! They will be hitting the beach as soon as they can drive!!! Keep as hard to find good ones!

 

Sadly we can't afford to keep her. I was thinking that she should be worth 18 k..... Does that sound fair?

 

can you really no afford to keep her? 18 sounds a tad steep, dont get me wrong your vans LUSH! been on TV! but 18k is top whack for fully orig dry US westie territory, not far off id say about 16k? just my thoughts, fully accept I have got it wrong lol!
