I also used to work for BMW in the 90's and bumped into ol' Fishtrousers (the original one) whilst rummaging in the drinks cabinet in the old Warwick HQ boardroom - oops.
He just laughed and suggested that surely I had better taste in wine than the cheap French vinegar that they kept in there, with some hint that there was something a bit more vintage and refined knocking about if I was to keep looking. Wanting to keep my job, I didn't pursue this any further...
