next door has some massive trees and they are swaying ,just looking out of the window and willing them to hit the polytunnel [ plastic is tearing],might park the T25 under them...

I wouldn't, around the world the law seems to say tough tittie, act of god, claim on your own insurance and clean up your own mess (which you can't claim for).

 

It's been wet and windy here all day so far (South East Wales). I've got plenty of candles in, fetched in the portable camping gas heater as well as the portable camping gas cooker. I've cleared a space under the stairs for me and the dog to cwtch in incase the windows are smashed in under the force of the storm. I've got a 15tog quilt to wrap the tropical fish tank in incase of no electricity. My 10ft square pond is looking like the sea at the moment - the koi will have to deal with it themselves as I don't have room for 25 extra fish in the house lol. Internet signal is intermittent so might not be able to post later. Take care people xxxxxx

Popped out early to grab some bargains and on return found me nuts had dropped all over the road.

So if lucky it will blow over a couple of trees I've got to take out.
