Hi Wispy and welcome to TLB. I am in Newbury so the same applies about looking at vans in this direction if you need another pair of eyes/opinion.

You are also more than welcome to have a look at our 1979 Devon Moonraker Double Top for ideas, although it may be more a case of how not to do it!!

I'm not sure about clubs either, I think there is one in Hungerford but that may be a bit of a trek for you. I too will be in need of a respray sometime in the next year or so, the van is multicoloured at the moment!

Decide what you want your van to be - all perfect, rough looking but reliable, original or new interior, pop or tin top etc. Then you can have a look at what's available that either matches or could match your requirements. Do not underestimate the amount of time and money you can sink into a bay if you want to get it exactly how you want it!
