I know or I wouldn't have done it. I only stopped once for a quick coffee.

 

This is the procedure described in the Tom Wilson book which I've followed on each of the 5 engines I've built. To date they are all still running well (none of them leak oil either apart from the issue I have with my big valve heads...) so I'm guessing its good advice

 

Did you wear tight 70s shorts while you were doing it? It's essential
