It came - I fitted it. Its quite good especially for me as Ive got one of those aftermarket wheels that split no need to fix it now!! Ta for the heads up

I had lots of practice with my 15 hole DMs years ago !

 

I found that 10 metres of 5mm wide craft leather strip off eBay fits quite well. Still a skinny wheel but with a leather grippy surface. Have to re-stitch the joins every place it transitions from one strip of cow to the next cow..
