...which I've been looking for for ages. No fancy leather, just grippy stuff like those covers Alexander used to sell in the 80s. 45cm truck cover fits a Bay a treat - perfect. For 8 quid, you can't go wrong http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XXL-STEER...075&pid=100005&prg=7588&rk=2&sd=110939545611&
do you trim them down? i'm after a cream one but this one's prob too big? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leather-E...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c33b08e1a
Didn't see those - look ok. The main prob is finding one big enough - a Bay wheel is about 47.5", so they look fine. For 4 quid, you can take a punt, I'd think.
I took a punt on a £4 one, hated it and it's in the bin now. Watch out that lace up probably means wind the string bit round and round the whole cover/wheel. Verdict - rubbish.
Well, it's in and on, and it's right lovely. 8 quid well spent. I'll post a pic tomorrow if I remember.
Here you go... Not to everyone's taste, but I wanted something to bulk the wheel rim up, as I find it too skinny. It's fine and, as the packaging says, it's besonders weich und griffig. Can your steering wheel ever be griffig enough? Ich glaube nicht .
That looks good i find the wheel too skinny too so may have to invest, although my wheel is covered in cracks so it may have to wait until i get a new wheel.
unfortunately it's the rubber stuff degrading. no amount of cleaning stops it and has probably just made it worse. think i will invest in more BKF though. love the stuff!
Just ordered one....was looking a while ago.....but wife had banned me from EBay......no more black hands after driving !!! Good times .
Was thinking of one of these myself a while back as it brings back memories of the cars I had from the early 80s. Saw this post and ordered one
