  2. I gave it a miss today I started 9 weeks ago and have done 7 runs ,last week was the first time without a walk and a PB of 33.04.
    My first week I was 8thin my age group,I was dead chuffed until I found out that there were only 8 in my age group

    Been having physio on a knee injury for the past six months para, but talking to him about doing just that next spring. It would be a lifetime achievement for me to do a 5k. I can walk 20k even now with a bad knee, but I have never been able to run it.

  4. My sister in law travels all over doing park runs ,she's doing the A to Z .this morning it was Gunersbury park ,drove down last night from Manchester ,mad as box of frogs

  5. I never thought that I would be able to do it I just got up one morning after special training , eating cakes and went and did it ,I was quite shocked.

    Cliffe Castle. It's got an absolute b'stard of a hill you have to do 3 times. It's fun though....honest injun :D

    A friend of mine down in Exmouth is taking part in the Glow In The Dark 5k neon run tonight to raise money for the Down Syndrome Association. She's mad too!

  9. One of my friends coaches the local couch to 5k groups, I went along as a run buddy for one of the courses this year, the transformation some of them make in the 10 weeks is amazing

  11. Anything that comes to hand really,but take into account terrain ,for instance Bakewell tart for hilly stuff or Victoria sponge for easy flat runs and I always recommend Dundee if your nuts
