Ashamed to say I have sort of lost Interest.

From my point of view the crash has happened at a bit of a crap point in my life, so maybe that isn't helping, I wasn't around for v1 and you're all right that it will build up again i'm sure, I suppose i'm feeling like most people in the fact of there was a lot of content lost that can't be reworked, I know I was over keen from joining and that I was a very "high" poster on some things, but I feel my whole story of the journey so far has been lost and that makes me sad, I'm sure some others feel the same too but for those of us who still had the "newbie" status it now feels like starting over but not having much to say because there aren't enough experiences yet but the ones you had were moments in time that are pointless to re-post, that's why my van arrival thread has been diluted into only a page from it's previous daily updates and laughs along the way status as before....I just have nothing new to add at the moment, hope that makes sense, I am trying to pull my arse into gear and hopefully semi normality will be resumed soon.

Daz, cheers i tried that the other day but only certain pages work? if i click page 2 for example it don't come up so i just left it, as i said i'm not real great on the tech side of comps and how it happens.

 

maybe it's because of the browser i use? i'll have to try and use a google one? cheers though, it's strange how the site has gone but posts are still there, maybe it is true that once posted on the internet it stays forever if you know what to look for?

Get google chrome, it searches for cached pages much better than the others.

I find myself posting at different rates, sometimes being heavily involved and sometimes just lurking.


I think it's impossible to be 100% all the time and to quote a cliche' . . . you have good days and bad days. It's understandable that when people's hard work and time (and yes. . . posting does represent this) vanishes, you are going to feel a bit flat, even disappointed.


It's you guys who made this forum what it is.

 

as Richard says - you cant be 100% TLB all the time (well a few can ) I love reading the Holiday and Restro sections and when I am not busy I delve into chat big time .... other times I hit ' mark all read' and start all over again ...

 

Oh well in that case, bring it on!!! I didn't realise I could still stalk you but will happily do so from now on, only not when you're looking
