I think you've got this confused. I don't think they're changing the Snowdon railway, even though a bunch of fatties refused to move around to let a pensioner take his seat. They are changing the layout on the Ffestiniog railway though, having fewer, larger seats. I may be wrong.

Been there Pony. We went for a 5 mile bike ride that turned into a 9 mile bike ride and I only just managed to not get taken to the cleaners! On top of that I was robustly reminded of a lovely summer evening walk that ended up 12 miles long walking in the countryside after dark SIX years earlier!!

 

Been there done that (X3). I wouldn't say this is old but it was probably pre "right to roam" days
