We live 300 yards from the sea but we dont seem to be on alert ,or maybe our local council just dont care which sounds about right.
i live right next to beech, calmed down now but earlier we had police out, blocked road and had diggers repairing sea bank and removing all the beech off the road and cleaners going at the road for good couple of hours.think they are done now ,can't see any flashing lights outside... tide will be coming back in soon but at least its not as windy...
Yeh we are for 2.30 in morning but we should be ok seasalter to margate , sandwich on red alert could be really bad their they reckon, deal, pegwell bay , Dungee, PFIZERS So blue tablets may be scarce. Hope everyone is ok , hold very tight please.
some of Norfolk, I got stuck in Bury early as there were trees across the train line but home safe and sound. However , many of my friend on the coast of Norfolk as in real risk , most of Lowie and Yarmouth are closes, villages have been cleared in North Norfolk .........................
Strong winds here in southern Sweden, van is in garage and everything is ok,the lights have been flickering a bit so we might lose electricity! Damn what will i do ? No TLB!!
Leicester is dry with little wind however high winds today. Came home to find the van cover on the floor with two broken straps.... Gutted! Someone must have kindly rolled it up and pushed the cover under the van.... Oh well, van dried off and cover back on.
Ok its all white outside! Luckily i put the van in the garage today!20 degrees in so i bet its happy in its new home.
Wish I had a garage to put Irene in...... I hate using a cover.... I'm still on a mission to find accommodation cheap or free....with heating
