  1. Yeah I have on mine you can't miss it, looks like a skip at the mo :)

  2. Wahoo. Only a few hrs til im cruising down to brean. Cant wait.

  3. My first VW meet in my van and was looking so good til I scraped the two panels on the passenger side bank holiday Monday. Going anyway but nervous of driving on the motorway and in the wind. Like driving a kite. Look out for me I'll be the one with white knuckles in the lilac van clinging to the slow lane at 45mph on the M5 from Junction 11a onwards.

  4. i might pop over at some point tomorrow, its only 3 miles away :)
if its still raining i wont bother

  5. Can't bring my bay.... Still without carbs.... Gutted!
    Might pop along anyway...

  6. Aah come on - have a mooch and a bag of chips by the sea it makes a change from staying at home.

  7. As you're in Zummerset you should come along and support it and we might get a bit of sun lunchtime

  8. Anyway I need to get some zzzzz so night all - might see you tomorrow. :)

  9. Yes, it is only a few miles, and my Mitsubishi is vw powered... That sorta counts....
Will see how the kids are tomorrow eldest daughter has football in the morning

  10. I think we'll drive down tomorrow if the weather's good.

  11. we are in field 3 C15 if someone wants to come say hi.

  12. Went just for the day yesterday. We went in the car and it's the first camper show we've been too but have been to loads of car shows and drag racing in the past.

£20 for us both to get in and we were done in about an hour. It was nice to look around and see a few finished campers but we both left feeling really disappointed and ripped off!

I'm sure if you went camping there it would have been different.

I wouldn't go again unless meeting up with others but don't yet have a bus on the road anyway.

Didnt see any tlb stickers either :-(

  13. where are you from andy? maybe you should join a local club too?
vanwest is a camping show, never many traders just a bit of auto jumble and like you say, its an hour to go round.
you need to go with a few mates and stay the weekend. there is sod all to do in Brean anyway and less when the weather is poor.
its a shame they charge so much for a day pass, £10 per car would be better
Bristol show is on in 3 or 4 weeks, get the bus sorted and get some beers in. if you cant get the bus sorted then bring a tent

  14. We were there in the show and shine with Dolly. We had our TLB sticker in a picture frame displayed on the front dash!!! You couldn't miss it!!!!........

  15. I missed it! I looked out for the sticker on the back of vans! I found Sailor Boy only because he was parked right by me. Anyway I agree it could be a little less money. Seemed nice for the kids. However I enjoyed it because it's the first proper drive I've done in Violetta and the little sweetheart purred nicely all day. What a relief! 167 miles at 28 mpg I was well happy.

I didn't see any LateBay stickers either, mind you I wasn't looking that closely

  18. Nope - but we are heading to Bristol Volksfest as Washpool Farm in 3 weeks time - can't wait, its excellent.

  19. Ooh didn't know about that one. Might give it a go. Depends if my van is still in the bodyshop having the damage I inflicted on it repaired or not.
