Anyone following the M6 toll story?

Its looks like every cop, fire engine and ambulance in the west midlands was there : I really dont understand our police, the stuff we want them to do they wont or cant do, there all to busy aparrently, but when it comes to the real events they always get it wrong, every inquiry into terrorist events have slated them for not knowing or doing there jobs properly, arresting the wrong people, under reacting to real stuff and over reacting to non events like this, they panic which looks like what happened today, its caused mayhem around that area and cost millions for a fake cigarette

 

The only thing missing from the array of security equipment present was Thunderbird 2

 

this is my area of expertise so to speak - whilst I had no involvement in this job, this is my bread and butter.

it only takes a quick look over the 1995 attacks in tokyo to see why it is we respond how we do in this country.

Nobody knows what is really going on until the situation is assessed on scene.,If we respond with too little resources and treat it as a not the mickey mouse call, we run the risk of it being the real thing...and the general public/govt whoever will moan that we didn't respond appropriately.
If we respond as they have here, public govt moan we didn't respond appropriately lol.

this isn't a moan or a dig, just my two pence worth

 

So the guy who was trying to give up using the electric fag - wonder if he's started again today ... should have gone with a patch!
