Any one spot that late bay? Olympics closing ceremony

I thought it was alright. Kaiser Chiefs did a good Pinball Wizard, the Lennon bit was excellent, George Michael started well with Freedom and ended poorly with whatever that song was. Ed Sheeran doing Wish you were here was excellent,. Annie Lennox was pointless and overblown as usual. Muse did an epic song (do thay have any other kind?) and The Who won the night.

Shame Bowie and Kate Bush didn't appear and why no Stones/Led Zep etc - Jimmy Page was in Beijing I seem to recall so it would have been nice to have him at our closing ceremony too.

 

And one more thing - Jacques Rogge needs to cheer up.

 

well one out of 3 kids managed to stay awake till the fireworks I cried all the way through and sang very loudly and ate trifle.

I was worried they were going to drop Darcy Bussell - we need her for strictly.

am very happy and i have 2 very inspired boys who now want to try even more sport

Have to say - that's pretty cool you owning and driving it at the ceremony.

The splitty guys probably couln't get one up the ramp and the earlybay guys - well, all that noise and loud music and young people being frivolous and at that time of night and going to London might get mugged for my slippers and am I allowed pipe tobacco in the venue etc etc etc.

 

If the category was there, I'd have to vote for you as 'coolest thing done with a latebay'
