Great closing ceremony. Makes you feel great to be from this little island in the Atlantic that has had such a big influence on The world. Where would they all be without us.

We are great and we are Britain. Very proud tonight and we all should be.

 

And finally, WHO else could finish off the ceremony?

Yeah, it was alright. But it kind of reminded me of a massive set of Wild Boys, as if the producers got their inspiration from that Duran Duran video.

 

I have to admit to falling asleep during it. :-[ I blame a long day in the hot sun at Beach Buggin!

Unfortuanately everytime I woke up someone seemed to be singing badly (Spice Girls, Liam etc). It was all a bit of a surreal nightmare - did it make any sort of sense to any of you who watched all of it? - I seemed to have missed the good bits. :

I ended up dreaming that the ceremony included all the duff singers .....thrown in the arena with some lions...... Simon Cowell was added in for good luck as well.........

Mind you......Get rid of these lot, then the Games really would have had a lasting legacy
