I Like to get out an do a bit of single track on a bike.......I ride the North and South Downs, and have done a few enduro events...including the South Downs Randonnee....100 offroad miles in a day with 10,000 feet of climbing... [nearly killed me..3 times] have been through the full suss thing and come back to a steel bike.. and built this from an NOS frame in 2009 using modern stuff...and I love it.

Ok I feel a little done over now ! Stupid really but I went down halfords the other day to buy a helmet and while I was there I got talking to one of the blokes who works there and was saying that I'll use my bike until I want to upgrade parts ! So I was saying about disc brakes and we were looking at my bike (display model ) and seen that it has the hangers on the forks and the rear drop out so you could bolt disc brakes on at a later date as long as you change the wheels ! So I've found some I'd like and just thought I'd price it all up so out I went to my bike to find I have no hangers for disc brakes ? So I checked the photo on halfords web site and you can see the hangers on it and the display bike had them on . So what can I do complain and get another bike as what there showing as the bike for sale is different. Any advise would be good cheers ash

Well halfords have just rang me spot on 9 like they said and they say that the model I have should come with disc mounts on the frame . So I need to take the bike back to them so it can be checked over and we will go from there . May get another bike or my money back who knows but at least they were kind about it
Ok took my bike back to halfords to night and they said they would change it for the same bike so I said I want my money back to buy another bike with disc brakes etc so after a chat and an Order on line I got the next model up for 260 ish so I had. Cash spare so I've now got halfords care for a year and a new iner tube plus a better bike for less than the first
Cheers the only thing I need to doing is the disc brakes there rubbing and once you make it stop rubbing there is no brakes lol
