  11. I have a landline answer phone, its brilliant. Phone rings twice, machine cuts in with standard message, they cut off. Or sometimes the scammers leave a computer message but I never pickup I delete it later. On the occasion their number is recorded, I send it to BT's nuisance calls service and they block it. The latest scammer was a number from a Scottish remote village telling me my credit card had been compromised, the caller was a recorded American accent. Their number went to BT for blocking and investigating.

Of course if the call is from someone I know, they leave me a message and I call them back. Works for me.
