A tale of two roofs

The bolts are set in resin and a square of mat as reinforcing

 

wrapping will only make more work for me ( mind ticking over ,thinking about something wacky ) the bolts will get another square of matting and tomorrow I'm hoping to start on the filler

new vents and rubber edge arrived yesterday,I now find I have to make the frame smaller and refix it to the roof .Nobody said it was a 5 minute job

 

Today I have made the frame smaller to fit the roof opening size and mounted new fixing bolts in the fibreglass

 

making the vents holes bigger,although the vents are the same the new ones are bigger in diameter

 

I did actually say it would take you 5 minutes!

 

more like 5 days and then some hahahahaaaaaahhhhaaa

back on the roof ,fixing hinges to frame

 

insulation in and frame in primer ,ply liner cut ready to go on
