I'm now getting down to the swearing,7 of the bolts that hold the frame to the fibreglass have sheared off and 1 won't undo or snap .
bit of refurb required there then....assuming you intend to use filler over the glass, Plastic Padding do a plastic filler that is more flexible than standard bog....
wish I'd left the bolts on the frame now ,and just cut the material out with a knife ,then fixed a strip along side the frame to hold the new material,. now I will have to dig out the bolts from the fibreglass and insert new bolts with reinforcement
those washers with the holes in had a bolt protruding from them and they were bedded in resin ,the replacement is going to be a small bolt and repair washer with extra holes drilled for a better grip
Good work, have you considered glassing over the old vent holes Also what about doing a vinyl wrap on it instead of painting it? Good work by the way, you are cracking on at a pace!! Are you goung to put a spot of weld on the bolts to capture them?
