There's a lot of Orange ones.

Some orange ones are actually yellow.

    They were not galvanized.

    They don't always start.

    They don't always drive

    They don't always stop.

Sometimes they do all of the above well.

    Sometimes they don't.

    Black ones are cacky.

    Brown one's are rare.

People invest in Westfalia parts as part of their pension plan.

    Nothing ever breaks on them.

A Westfalia was the first camper on the moon.

Previous owners are the best mechanics.

Scene tax is not applicable to late bays.

The electrics are state of the art.

    Changing ball joints is easy.

Your wife will worship you for life if you spend all your savings on the maintenance.

Aircooled engines do not need oil.

Trust your mate in the pub. He is probably your best source of mechanical tips.

    Cynic!

  9. You can also happily travel at 80mph while the wife is cooking up a fry in the back with the pop top up and return about 70mpg (US gallons, more for proper ones)

Absolute fact. Thank you for posting.

  11. Apparently Klokkerholm repair panels are a better fit than even the original factory parts and if possible you should replace every panel on the bus with Klokkerholm if you can. It will be a real head turner when done!

  12. Its true then the extra ripples they press into their panels increase rigidity?
