A bit on the back.

So.......
A previous drunken episode with eBay left me with the back half of a VW Polo.
It had been cut in half with an uneven gas axe and a huge angle grinder.

 

So, set about straightening it out with an angle grinder this morning as it was sunny, then put in some bracing rails.

Just like Blue Peter, draw round it and cut out the shape, get an adult to use the scissors.

 

I don't know why but this photo just makes me smile.
I'm sure it should be the start of a caption competition?

 

That was the hideous thing that went past last week then, please refrain from blowing your horn and waving at me when towing that!

So having cut out a rough shape, I attacked it with an angle grinder.
Then fit some door seals and "Robert is your Mother's brother".

 

Quick somebody help stop that polo sinking through the magic mirror

 

Now waterproof, the next stage will be wiring then re-fit the headlining etc.
A job for next weekend.
