  1. Hi anyone out there who can help please have a 75 1800 lhd California bus the battery light and parking light on when the ignition is off fitted new battery a voltage regulator still has the lights on anyone any advice thanks jay

  2. do they go out when you disconnect the alternator from the regulator?

  3. No it doesn't stays on

  4. how about if you disconnect the live feed to (from) the alt?

failing that I'm not too sure what it could be... as it would appear to be an alternator failure to me

  5. I'll have a look tomorrow I fitted new regulator today hoping that be the problem but not my luck lol I presume engine out job to do alternator if it's that

  6. So what your saying is if I disconnect the live between the reg and alternator the light goes out that the alter is at fault

  7. no, the live feed that goes to the battery from the alternator....

if you look at the rh cylinder head tin just behind the alt, there should be a thick red wire with an inline plug in it... unplug it and see what happens

  8. Thanks for your time Paul shall see how I get on tomorrow let you know
