  8. Autoglym dude.

The bus was a bit grimy so it had the once over with G3 cutting compound and a machine polisher.

    Then autoglym super resin polish.

Followed by autoglym extra gloss protection which you let sink in for about a hour before buffing it off.

Then autoglym HD wax to finish it off.

  10. Half way there with the interiour now, few more bits and pieces to be done today.

I also noticed under the bus it's fitted with a espacher ba6 gas heater. So going to investigate that see if it works.

  15. Little pic of the fleet today, finally the bug has passed its MOT, needs a new starter though bump starring it every time is a bit annoying. [IMG][IMG]

  17. Third show of the year out the way and the small issues are getting noticed that need sorting.

One is the rather bad carbon monoxide leak setting off the alarm while driving slow. I bet it's the crusty type 4 heat exchangers.

But apart from that another great show at all types. [IMG]

  18. So I admit it after finding out that I have a possible leak coming for the flywheel oil seal I had to dive in and fix it.

So started pulling the engine Saturday morning, got out it flywheel removed and found that it was the culprit good job the bell housing was swimming in oil luckily the clutch was dry as a bone so it was just dripping down and seeping out the bottom.

Started to build it back up after replacing the seal and managed to snap a bolt in the flywheel, which wrote off Saturday as I was fed up by that point.

  19. Sunday a new day and a fresh mindset managed to see the job through thanks to some bolt extractors from screwfix the bolt came out with ease.

Went back in easier than it came out, wouldn't rush to so it again shifting 140kg of engine on my own wasn't fun but the job got done.

Now time for a beer. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
