  1. Well another project is arriving next week, this one will be for sale, as the 79 is my keeper, It a rustfree 77 poptop, plans are to tidy it up and sell it on, as i dont have space for both

  2. Nice one. Beautiful color combination. Looks like it has loads of potential and will sharpen up without investing too much money.
    Sand the bumpers and top, spray them all white, buff out the paint & yer halfway home.
    I bet that dingy sagging bench cushion cover would brighten and tighten after a run through the washing machine and a gentle warm dry.
    Will you be starting a restoration thread? :)

  4. My Westie had same covers and similar curtains. They are in a box now. Anyone want them? All washed ready to fit but a bit stripy from sum bleaching. But they are original.

    The cushion covers are are in pretty good shape ready to fit and preshaped apart from the back one. A litle bit of fading as you can see on the seats but still looks like the real deal.

    I tried dyeing these and this picture shows how much dye stuck on. None. However we did not notice that a pair of my Y-fronts were still in the machine. Now I have a nice green pair. At least it proved that the dye worked!
     
  10. cheers guys, will prob buff out the paint, respray the front end and lose the spare wheel bracket, then prob repaint the bumpers and pop top
     
  11. New bus arrives Thursday, getting excited already, Anyone want to buy an OG paint 77 Westy Campervan 8)

    Hoping to have it MOTd and registered asap

  19. Its here, rock solid, gonna give it a clean and polish tommorow

    already pulled the carpets, gonna replace them as they are knackered, the interior is all there too

  20. Given it a quick T Cut and polish, got rid of the milky colour it had, will have a proper mop at the bodyshop when the front panel gets a repaint, next up is removing the interior to replace the sub floor the westy carpet if fitted to
