091 gearbox on eBay

Whats it do for £650?

Is it like a transformer or similar - it mutates it to something drastically better than a standard box?

 

How much would it cost to do a recon on one of these 091 puppies? How many hours would it take?

That's about £200 too much.... I sold mine for £400

especially as it's not a recon

 

There was one on here last month for £700 with 80k miles on it. For that money I'll keep my spare as a spare.

 

I remember when you were lucky to get £50-£75 for a 901 box

Dubs are no longer the poor mans hot rod :-[

 

Quite - last time (just 4 years ago) I bought a complete turn-key 1600 it was £50.

 

I sold two last year for about 175 each.
