Evenin’ I believe I need to acquire the indicator/ wiper switch parts shown in this thread - but they ain’t available - anywhere (the stalks, switches and housings). What alternatives do I have assuming I’m happy to have a Frankenstein switching arrangement? Can I use early or later ones and, a’hem, make them fit somehow? All I have atm is the steering column and a ball of wires... Cheers https://thelatebay.com/index.php?th...alk-problem-help-required.65156/#post-1195536
Expensive but have you tried desi yates, think you can find him through facebook if no one here has one, he sems to have most stuff quirreled away Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
I have considered making some of my own switches from stuff from electronics stores. I would try to fit them into stock assemblies if possible. If not, I could live with it. It gets tedious trying to fit together fiddly crumbling bits. The turn signals seem like they would be easy to make with micro switches. The self cancelling part would be harder.
@Nils makes the parts, 3d prints them, I'm waiting for a reply to a message a few weeks ago Give him a prod
Yeah, need the whole shooting match. I think the column is standard 68-74 so any from that era should fit and operate. I think earlies have the wiper switch on the dash and just a single stalk for the indicator. I read the thread about Nils - great effort. Cheers for the replies.
I've got an indicator switch and I'm pretty sure I've got a pair of the holders, might even have a ring or 2 and I think @Moo has a wiper stalk he might be persuaded to part with.
I bought a new switch assembly for my bus as I had nothing but the housing. Worst thing I did as cost me the better part of £100 and is already not working properly it wont latch going round left hand corners so I have to hold it on. I need a og one thats working it would probably be better quality. Soldering is shocking on mine.
Sorry I'm late to the party... Yes i do have a switch I could be tempted to part with if you still need it
