I'm putting the bus I bought from Florida back together and am struggling with the stalk switches. They don't seem to be either early or late bay according to other ones I've seen unless this was just for 1973. They work electrically and fit into the cowling but I can't see a way of fitting the 2 halves of screwed together cowling to the column. Am I missing a part of the column/cowling or just being plain old stupid!
Thanks I'll send him a PM. Is that design specific for the year. as earlier one's have the single stalk and later ones the ring type switches?
The screws that hold the cowling together have small heads compared with their diameter if I remember correctly. My October 1973 built bus has those switches : one of mine, the windscreen wiper switch, is held together with a cable tie as a plastic moulding had split, and it is not the same as the replacements from later on.
