Personally, I blame the Rothschilds, the Vatican and the military industrial complex ................... oh, and the Rosacrucians............... and the Freemasons ............... and probably feminists are involved too........................... and aliens ( they've taken over the royal family you know
I’m pretty sure Obama would have at least had the common courtesy to acknowledge her at the climate summit. I’d like to think so anyway.
To be honest... it’s too little, too late. It all started off with the dawn of the Industrial Age. We will either wipe ourselves out or the world will, yes, we may make the pain last longer, but the end is inevitable, so let’s just enjoy the ride!
The problem is human beings, we only live a short time relatively speaking and only really care about the short term, the here and now. We know now that the Earth is warming up and why and eventually the effects would be catastrophic. In the long history of the Earth, many changes have occurred and species have lived and died, the Earth has warmed up and cooled down which caused life to die and regenerate. The Sun will die eventually, that large asteroid which came close recently could have wiped us out if it hit, asteroids have hit before and its unpredictable. Humans are destroying the planet and there is little we can do to stop it. Its a form of self harm, we know its bad and hurts but we carry on doing it. As individuals we can help a little, but its a bit like us giving Thomas Cook a few quid to help them, but their debt is so big our help would be a drop in the ocean and wouldn't save them. Credit to the protesters, but no one is listening.
The kids strike and take days off school...but once back, pop to the shop for their drinks in plastic bottles and sweets and then just drop the rubbish as they walk home...lots of talk but little positive action.
Didn't know she has Asperger's - she does come across as if she's always been a worried adult. I think she's absolutely spot-on with the sentiment that the world powers assume and expect there to be perpetual economic growth, driven from a combination of insatiable consumerism and ever increasing stealth taxation for life essential requirements eg utility bills.
We are all, to an extent, reluctant to change our ways. We have the IBGYBG response to the end game; I'll Be Gone, You'll Be Gone. Drastic change will not come from voluntary initiatives, it will have to be by draconian mandate.
She’s quite annoying and I feel she’s being used. But it mustn’t distract from the facts if they’re as proven as we’re being told.
Don't you go blaming the poor wee beasties, they're totally innocent and the Fake News Media that's been giving them bad press for the last few million years. Make Dinosaurs Great Again. Knew one of you would bite. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 9002A using Tapatalk
For me the biggest confusion I get is not from climate change which is surely undeniable, but from whether is just part of a cycle that happens to the world from time to time, or if there are actions we can do that will have a beneficial impact on it? Anyone know? Anyone? Bueller? I certainly don’t know.... Ps, I don’t find her annoying
Arguably, a bigger threat to humans is an ever expanding world population competing for finite food and water.
