Flipping cold in here when the wind blows, I'm sure they should be some strips stopping the draught. Transparent plastic stuff? Does anyone know where l could get some.
All i have in mine is strips of sticky back close cell foam where the glass overlaps. very effective and i think its original
I don't think that's original, I think there should be plasticy rubbery c-section stuff that slips onto top of panes (so it doesn't fall off or fill with water) and seals against the next pane.
Curses on Samsung for calling their stupid phone "edge" and in doing so fooking up for all time all searches on the internet/ebay involving the word "edge".
Car door edge protector on ebay is tantalisingly close at 3mm and probably in all car accessories shops too, but I need for 4mm glass. Maybe I'll go for a drive tomorrow and see what I can find. Glazing places and car accessory shops would be a good start. Delivery to a field not easy.
I don't think there was zed. The extra bit was put on later. People did use a plastic strip like you say, and the stick on insulation like RM92 has. I had the same issue with my og ones back in the day. Can't remember anything being on it originally, but fixed it with sticky foam from work.
Westy louvres are crap rattling things with a silly turn knob that quickly wears out so you turn and nothing happens. But if you're lucky, after turning said knob a few times, the louvres may start to open and flap about. Closing is the reverse of opening. I've had these windows and chose Devon because... Each half opens seperately with a simple lever that also locks them shut - so easy. Far superior - FACT. How this came to be is a mystery, they must have out-sourced them.
