Just spent hours fitting this poxy side step (my jacking points are a tad organic) and now I'm not sure I even like it...got a right face on now I need some of that famous TLB balanced, analytical and intelligent input on whether or not to bin it off. So is it poo bus or not poo bus. Over to you
I like em I have one on mine and it is function as well as form for my family Looks OK on yours ....but something more industrial might look better on a double cab IMO
Mine looks ok, but serves no purpose whatsoever. They eventually seize into the jacking points, so you can't get them out again...
Don't get me wrong, I think it looks fine on yours, but a side bar or one of those grid type steps would look better. Think @paradox had some side bars made for his By grid type steps, I mean the sort you see on jcb's and the like, and maybe not as long as the full length one
I already crawled inside your mind and extracted that particular opinion for presentation to Mrs Nutz on why shiney addons should stay on stalls full of tat at overpriced shows. I probably should have asked permission really
You'll note I'm already "losing" the hubcaps one by one. An ongoing battle between she who earns more than me and likes sparkly stuff and is technically paying for the thing and me who has a shred of dignity who likes wheel nuts and not having to polish pretend chrome which looks like it was asked nicely to hang around for a week or two before falling off. So yeah, looks better than the eyelids and limp hubcaps too. Still don't like it though
You're gonna have to educate me on how getting in through a slidey door requires any more assistance than getting in a crewcab door That's the sole purpose for it, the other half has hip problems and struggles getting in the side door. I hereby demand you feel bad now
Problem is the step is under the bus so it dosent help plus if your jacking points are organic I would'nt put much weight on them anyway or she might need a new hip
Ah I left it out enough that it provides a modicum of steppage for her. I'm replacing jacking points one by one in beteeen rainy days so this is just a proof of concept exercise. It'll be weight bearing if i decide I can live with its ponyness
