TLB Springcamp in the middle - Rutland Water - 2nd/3rd/4th/5th May 2014

  1. Is fishing allowed on the waters at Rutland? Someone told me that it was trout & from a bout only, my nippers want me to take em fishing!

  2. That's OK. Most of Lancashire ignores the existence of Yorkshire anyway.

  6. But actually I could be wrong as when you look on Rutland Water's fishing info it's more expensive....

That's two of us if we can manage it. If we arrange to meet @Razzyh on the M1 we will be equaling the historical event of the southwest! One more and we will have increased the record by 33.3333333333333333333% - where is Norris McWhirter when you need him? :)

The bloke at the campsite is gonna give us a couple of big metal troughs ( That's his words, I'm not quite sure what they are ) to have fires in, so if anyone's got any spare wood to burn, that'd be great

  17. Afraid we are not going to make this one as Kate had a look at the web site with regards to the toilets /showers or lack of / very basic

It was something to do with you having to ring the owner in Cumbria to get the key code for the portaloo enclosure

  18. It did say when first thnking about this site that it would be basic, no hook up/showers etc... shame you're not coming... boil the kettle, have a wash in the van :)

  19. im over not over 80 n they are letting me go , ive heard no showers but lots of sun :D

  20. Ah, I was having a moment of supreme stupidity and read the wrong web page!
