We are talking mirrors here - bumpers I was just mentioning in passing. Added to my list of things to do, which is actually pretty long already
I'm pretty sure bumpers are 25mm if you're using the white plastic caps, if you want the o.e. style mushroom heads they're only available online. I shall bring some M8s to Stafford on Saturday.
What's people's views on little round mirrors for a bay like bar end mirrors on motorbikes http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=330627945146 Sitting near the top of the door I had some like this on my motorbike and I could see more then with standard??
I have a peep mirror to cover the blind spot on motorways, well handy in a LHD. Mine's square though.
Looks good I was looking at doing away with the standard mirrors and just fitting these little round ones?
You'd probably need convex ones to give you the width of vision required. I'm a truck driver though so I rely on mirrors a lot, there's seven on The Daf.
lets face it how many actually need to use their mirrors these days if your driving a very slow camper do you over take , theyve gone past you before you see them jo king by the way
I used to be a wagon driver and you use your mirrors so much more, luckily I had an old Volvo that had 5 mirrors rather than the 7 now !!!

Some of us can overtake. How many people have their door mirrors the wrong way up? You see a lot more in them if you have them oriented landscape rather than portrait.
It's also the way around they were meant to be - go and look at the front cover of the Haynes manual.
