yes because i dont believe in speaking ill of the dead. we arent talking about Stalin or Pol Pot or Hitler, no massacring of millions of people was there? Just because i dont agree with slagging off dead people and comments like *******ing / dancing on her grave or burning in hell it doesnt make me a fan of hers. the argy electioneering??? Our sovereign land was invaded by a hostile nation. not quite the same as looking for missiles in a desert, is it? i would hope that no matter which party was in they would act the same or not only would the falklands be argentinian but but gibraltar would be spanish and the channel islands would be french by now. I grew up on the army bases in germany during the 70s and 80s so i have loads of respect for our Forces. and yes, i am old enough to remember.
Thatcher is the first thing on nearly every news programme, every website in the UK. Opinions are being expressed freely both positive and negative, but that's too much for TLB. Talk about being blanded out here.
aussie bay I think we'll have to agree to disagree if you accept anything short of genocide as acceptable in politics. Sovereign land, Hostile nation? Fair enough if that's how your mind works, but mine doesn't. It was politics. It's always politics and it's no more acceptable if organised by one one political party than another. You appear to favour tory invasions, but not labour ones. It's pretty clear where you allegencies lie. I don't have any.
dunno. not yet..... still, does it really matter? i like you and that should matter more than *anything ever. (*may be an exaggeration)
lol!! Im only after sympathy anyway. Back to the thatcher bashing (but dont speak ill of the dead) Its a s if some people are related to her. Lady Diana spencer was a knowb and look at the outpourings of grief for her. Country came tpo a standstill and not a bad word could be said (FOR A SHORT TIME ANYWAY)
Its probably a damned site mare pallatable and a lot more grown up to have the argument to peoples faces. On line people get very agitated. Emotional and behavioural maturity dont always go hand in hand.
Maybe if you did you would get to know us better and realise this is merely banter, informed debate and discussion
oops, think that was another line i crossed back then. silly me. i've obviously got no respect and no social etiquette at times of grief *picks nose and scratches bum with princess di commemorative teaspoon*
