5 times now, only had it bad once though and that was just like a bad cold. Ive been extremely lucky i guess. And yes, all jabs up to date. Wife caught it once and put her in bed for a week. Shes had all of her jabs as well.
Only had covid once had all the jabs ...i was a bit rough but had a 11 and half ton of pink 20 mill granite delivered and tipped on the drive blocking the cars , so i ended up shifting it on my own around the back of my house , helped sweat it out ...No one came to help of coarse .
Over here, they no more test for covid. Docs said is like a flu I have been sick last week, was like a 6 days hangover not sick enough to go the doctor but it was quite a miserable week. Maybe covid? Something I have seen, is lot's of people from 55 are getting heavy problems like embolisis.
Got it Dec 21. Just getting out of long covid now although that in itself is like a rollercoaster and as a leaving present gave me adult onset asthma
Yep, twice. First time right at the start in April 2020 when I was really poorly for nearly a month and then at Christmas just gone, it only lasted a few days but it's left me with a horrible cough I can't shake off
Only had it once but I have been ill since before Christmas with a flu bug that keeps coming back along with a cough that I just can’t shake.
I still think that the immune system suffers if a person drinks alcohol. Dilutes it, like petrol in oil…
As far as I’m aware, I’ve not had it at all. I’ve had 3 jabs I think, but was one of the last to have them as I didn’t really want them, but having a rolled over holiday from 2020, forced my hand.
I had to prove I had one, as I went to the States, and they wanted people to have had them before they would let you on the plane.
From my own experience I think you'd know if you had had it. Like flu (mild in my case - paracetamol knocked the symptoms on the head) but for me now everything smells and tastes really weird. It got me when due to other issues I was at an extremely low ebb or I reckon I'd have batted it for 6 and probably have done so many times. The last time a virus got me was 50 years previous.
I should have had 6 by now. Had the first three then the thromboembolism and a neighbour said read up on the vaccine and thrombosis as a lot of people are getting thrombosis type illnesses since the vaccine! I stopped having them then after a bit of research! She works in an hospital btw!
3 confirmed by PCR tests even though I had no symptoms what so ever, got pinged on the app so got them done, could have been false positives though. The other 2 times were lateral flow positives, I did feel crappy, nothing worse than a bad cold though. I was working out and about all through the pandemic so not surprising really.
I had two weeks off because my youngest who has asthma, had a cold at the time, and the drs. wasn’t sure, so we all had to stay home for two weeks. That was the only time I had off, though. I had a test, which was negative, in fact, so was his.Bored out of my mind, so I did a load of welding under the van.
The upside of losing your senses of smell and taste is that you can drink all the unwanted crap at the back of the drinks cabinet, like the blue stuff that you won as tenth prize in a raffle.
