Id heard there may be a Beeb vacancy soon. Very good at chatting baloney but know nuffink about footy. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, same as the current bunch of Herbert’s.
Car part’s delivery, hadn’t thought of that. So I’d be chatting to lonely garage peeps instead of older peeps in the main. Ozziedog,,,,,, , ,I like it says the mole in his faked cockerny accent.
This isn’t something that’s just appeared bud. It was gaining strength / hurting more and more throughout last summer, then as we climbed the big rise up towards Christmas I was fair hobbling about .Then I thought a week off then would sort it out right after the festive season. To a degree it helped but as soon as I went back to working it came back inside a few hours or half a shift. I’ve gone private with a podiatrist, who has helped a bit, I’ve been seeing my own doctor too and Ive also had various X-RAYs and blood pressure tests etc etc etc. I’ve been off for a bit now and it’s pain free most of the time until I go to do something. The only relief at present, is rolling two small bottles of frozen water along under my foot as you’ve mentioned but doing it four or five times a day, or Voltarol helps a lot. The Plantar Funnywhatsits is treatable but I can’t see it healing while I’m working, doing what I’m doing. I also hate it when Zed is right, as he is most of the time Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,great,,,, this over twenty one malarkey
I’ve been recommended similar but using a bottle of water frozen under each foot. Ozziedog,,,,,, really helps
Weird as it sounds I’ve always thought I wouldn’t mind being an undertaker. There’s something about a job where you feel like you can in some way improve other peoples lives or help them through a tough time. I’m too stupid to ever be a doctor or a nurse etc, colourblind so I was rejected for the fire service. I think in an odd way being an under taker and helping a family through the worst of times would actually be quite rewarding.
There's always a "run in" of some sort ... I'm willing to bet no one has worked (correctly at least) on your calf muscles or your butt muscles ...? It won't go away until all the other bits away from your foot have been appeased. They could have been part of the cause, or just part of the reaction, it applies either way. Dub and Dubber ,,,,,,,,,, I've lost count of how many times I've had to say this sort of thing!
This volterol you speak of. Is it bought from the chemists off the shelf, or prescribed? The prescribed is more effective for localised pain, as it’s prescribed.
I had this, it was really painful. I’m on my feet all day as a teacher and I became really worried about having to give up. I visited loads of physio sessions etc. then I was chatting to a colleague who recommended I get some new footwear. (I’d been wearing Sketcher shoes, smart and comfortable.)She recommended Nike Revolution. Honestly, within a week I could walk again without pain. Best £40 I ever spent! I hope this works for you too.
Good point this actually, though you're one of the few "lucky" ones with a localised problem ... Edit .... I bet you just LOVE Gavin Williamson .... the plonker.
I had some shock wave treatment a few years ago when I had plantar fasciitis and after the nhs phiso gave up trying to sort it. It wasn’t cheap and it did hurt but 3 sessions and it sorted it.
I’m about to start driving wheelchair accessible minibus for a local company taking older and disabled people to hospital appointments etc. They run 8 busses and have loads of NHS contracts, I’m sure most reasonable sized towns will have similar companies!
I like the idea of delivering car parts…. The people I see nipping around in the local motor factors vans always look happy in their work, and enjoy a good chat with the mechanics at my local garage. Luckily we don’t live too close @Ozziedog or we might be competing for what looks to be a nice driving job
