Certainly could be a good solution for you as he's done all the hard work. Be prepared for a bodgy install if nobody wants to buy his bus due to it. Doesn't mean you can't improve things during your fitting.
I suggest you familiarise yourself with what a good installation looks like before you look at it. Even google photos will give you a good idea.

I agree - sort of, but air-cooled engines have got so expensive and so many re-conditioners don't care what they provide as long as it lasts for 1 year/10,000 miles it's a minefield.

 

exactly this it all looks prim and proper, just had it serviced and timing belts done too. i know a marmity install so i can judge on that.

I just want to say a massive thank you to absolutely everyone for their response to this.

my phone has literally not stopped this week, phone calls of advice, time given to support any queries i may have..

question the bay ownership. etc

i have people offering help to bring parts accross the country to me.. people sending me every engine that pops up online and others just taking time out to motivate and push me onto the next step.
