What do the "lads at work" do for on the go and in car chargers etc? The Pixel 4a seems to need something like this and not your el cheapo Lidl USB ciggy thing, is that right? Or will they charge with a traditional USB cable, just more slowly? Anyone confirm this? .. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08CXD3...abc_P0XB61TSS0EFCQNQJDZM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I've got a Samsung a21, which seems to be a pretty good phone. I've had it for about 14 months, it gets pretty heavy usage every day as sat nav and TLB viewer, and all I do to keep it running smoothly is a full shut down and restart once a week. It does them good to be reset every now and again to clear caches and stop background apps from getting bogged down. I see the a21 is mentioned in your amazon ad, and I can tell you that mine charges in my work van every day on an el cheapo Lidl charger with no problems at all.
Got a Samsung A71 that does everything that I want from a phone; the camera seems quite good, it charges quickly and has a decent battery capacity. Oh, and the phone bit works OK too.
give these a look. Iv'e had one for about 10 months now, it's head and shoulders abover the Samsung A52 that I have for work. Bigger, better screen, twin sim, micro SD card slot, more memory on board. And the battery lasts 2 days with normal use if you leave it alone, just on standby it goes for 3 days. I'm pretty sure you could use it as a jumper pack with the right leads. https://www.mi.com/uk/redmi-note-9-pro/
Ah , just to confirm, you're both thinking of USB-C on both ends of the cable? As opposed the A at one end and C at the other? Thanks
An SE is just fine. Many surveys have shown that iPhone owners are extremely attractive and generally excellent company. The same survey showed that over 30% of Galaxy users wipe their noses on their sleeve.
Blimey all this A-C, USB-C, C-C stuff is a tad beyond me! It's all about speed, right? Just stump up the £10 to get a super whizzy car USB ciggie socket charger thingy. Get those short arms down into the deep pockets, you've been in Scotland too long (I notice it mentions iPhone 11 on the Amazon ad, but I'm sure my charging lead doesn't have that USB plug type end bit?)
It's the Yorkshire in me, can take the boy out of Yorkshire, but not Yorkshire out of the boy PS, not just a ciggy doodah, but power bank too, it's got me come all over spendy, it's all very clever fast charging, night charging to prolong battery life etc. I shall have to sit down and have a cup of soothing Yorkshire tea.
