Went to look at this the other day on behalf of a mate ... No looking up the 'plate !! Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Yep , he gave up on this one as the bloke was a total penis / dealer who reckoned it was worth 3k but was trying to sell the plate separately and had to told the vehicle needed to be roadworthy and inspected for the plate transfer to happen . He wanted 7 1/2 k for the lot which is ridiculous so matey kept looking and bought a '37 Morris 10 in similar condition for 2,300 delivered , just needs to sell his '34 Morris 8 now , or the Cresta , or the Renault 4 CV or the Bedford CA etc etc .... Forgot that Austin built a load of Tens, including vans and pickups for the WD. If it's really a '39 then it's one of the first as it was only launched on May of that year. Not that makes it any more valuable, and certainly not £7500 worth!
Yep , you can get a decent Austin 10 runner for 4k , put our silly vans in whole new light when I started looking at 30/40s car prices .... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
My old man is into his Austins, and as you say, you can get a lot more for your money if you don’t want to go camping!
Well done kids, 'twas a thing of utter beauty that I've only ever seen a single example of, as I walked home from school in about '75.
How about this one, yours for 8650 Swiss Francs, apparently the engine it runs, and it has a new battery.
