Turns out you only live once after all Loved all his Bond films but my favourite of his is The Man Who Would be King - absolutely brilliant film RIP Mr Bond.
He didn't come from a privileged background and worked all sorts of jobs before acting. A great loss Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
He still thought it was ok to slap women. his tax dodging antics already had him on my naughty list. and he wasn't a great actor.
Not a fan then..... Stolen from Twitter - Whether you wanted a suave English spy (with a broad Scottish accent), a tough Russian sub commander (with a broad Scottish accent), a wily Irish cop (with a broad Scottish accent), or a medieval Spanish nobleman (with a broad Scottish accent), #SeanConnery really could do it all
In a interview with barbara walters in 1987. said its fine to slap a women, More damagingly ,wife diane client wrote in her autobiography that he was abusive towards her during their marriage and that he beat her unconscious . I was never under the illusion that he was very nice,
What a ridiculous thing to say - don't be a pr*ck. I would observe that he was married for 11 years to his first wife, and then a further 40 years to a different woman. Conclude what you need to from that.
Good riddance you pr*ck. SAY it out load,Use a megaphone to say you love beating up women and five minutes later its all been memory holed cos you got to drive some nice cars in the movies.
Perchance are you a woman? Do you think what you are gabbling on about would warrant a slap? Asking for a friend. For the record - the world was a happier place when people were held accountable for their actions and words. Am not saying that said accountability should be violent - but yes, a happier place for sure. We all have a line that others should approach with more caution than you are mustering chief.
Just been reading the obit in the Graun. Among many others, Nicola Sturgeon tweeted her tribute to him. I find it difficult to believe she would pay homage to a proven wife beater. There are historical allegations and historical things he said he later regretted and said so. Increasingly we seem to live in the age of black or white opinions with no room for nuance or for people to have made mistakes in the past which bear no relation to who they are later in life.
I was referring to your anger management therapy - every time you contribute on here it's confrontational , dunno why you bother ? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Well now that the tiff seems to be over ...just like to say can you remember him in the B/W film...The Hell Drivers .Possibly one of his first large parts in films
