Does that mean even if it was road worthy you still couldn't keep it as I'm sure a group of us could get it to road worthy state in very little time?
It's not so simple in picturesque para village land. His landlord basically "owns" the village and has levers - para's home.
Landlord doesn't own the public highway, and it would be an unlawful eviction if he tried to kick him out due to not liking his choice of vehicle!
I dont know the specifics but unless he lives in Bournville village ~1900 the landlord can [insert expletive of choice]. That said, I'm not going to get all up in Para's business so he just needs to let us know what help he'd like.
Housing in t'Dales is very hard to come by. Mrs Para, a Dales lass, will not leave the Dales where she fits like a piece of jigsaw puzzle, particularly not for a broken van. I hope Para doesn't mind me butting in...save him repeating himself...again.
How much does the lady want for the small holding? Buy it, move in, leave the van where it is, and get your wife to pay the mortgage instead of the rent.
I've got no idea where you live Para but is there anyone on here that's not too far away that could keep your bus at theirs?
That's a long long way from me I'm afraid, hopefully there'll be somebody on here not too far away that can help with storage. Good luck.
