Wrestled five metres of vacuum hose from engine compartment up to front, through holes thoughtfully provided by VW. Like wrestling a python, I tell ya. Neat c.rossover in the middle of the floor, emerging triumphant up by the right front wheel arch.

Took a look at the rear pipes while I had a back wheel off. They’re a lot twirlier than I remember...

 

From the T-piece or the ones through to the rear hubs - they're really twirly.

I won a pair of horns off eBay. They are marked high and low and from a Golf. I removed the old growley horn and fitted the pair. .....but. .....they won't work as a pair on the bus (they work individually)) with the existing wiring. Looks like I have a bit of rewiring to do.

Just parallel them up. Twin horns best driven through a relay though, with the existing horn circuit in the ground of the relay coil.

 

That's what I thought I'd have to do @snotty. I'll find a relay later this week and have another go.

 

I have a horn from a Honda Accord on mine. The tradish horns belong on clowns cars or postman Pat's van. Beep beep.
