I put the H80 on these areas on saturday afternoon but they'll still need repairing/welding/plating /something to make them better.
Ah, yes, could be, if that's where the pans came off. Could even have been the chisel when pans were removed. Doesn't look too bad at all
Depends on what the rest of the out rigger is like, if it's thinning then I'd be concerned. Otherwise, you could probably patch that, after treating it, and budget for a new outrigger later. See what others suggest as well as Mick thinks, however
i did suggest buying a new one and jacking point when i ordered the sills but Mick said i didn't need one - wishing i'd got one now
Think I’ll suggest it tonight. I would definitely feel happier with that before replacing pans too. But I’m also aware that time isn’t on my side.
£18 and about hour http://www.autocrafteng.co.uk/shop/bay-window_109/panels-and-body-parts_112/chassis-panels_581/
Certainly a better job, with a new one. Mick could be thinking a bit too Yorkshire here. Aw mooch....eer we can fix that. A neighbour of mine complains his in laws are Yorkshire hill farmers and fix everything with twine.
I’d hoped this work would mean it’d be good for the next 46 years once it’s all sealed in and I’d never look at it again. I suspect I was a little too hopeful! I’m also feeling a bit tired and defeated today.
Don’t be beaten, and don’t lose heart.... think of how far you’ve come with this.... and if Matty is right and it’s only an hour or so to replace, you can but suggest- you are paying for all this after all.
