Be interested to know if it's any good ? Stuff like that doesn't seem to be as caustic as it used to be!
I tried a bit today and it works, leave it for 30 minutes and put a thick layer on and it removes paint well. Excellent!....less grinding for me... Will snap a few pics tomorrow.
Been thinking of using these to make a central airbox with a panel filter....they will fit my IDF’s so just need some stainless pipe and silicone hoses to some type of airbox?
We were lucky to get that spot under the tree,50m from the beach too... Managed to get the sun awning to fit onto my JK tent which gave us even more shade.
You seem fixated on this idea !!! Those turbo hats , pipe work and filter will restrict air flow big time ..., if induction noise is louder than exhaust then just insulate engine Bay Area
Ive been in contact with JPM and we will do some dyno runs to see if it loses any horses. It will not restrict the airflow because the venturies are 28mm and the turbo hats are larger....if the turbo hats were less than 28mm then yes.
Hi Clive, I read 'also tried out the paint stripper' and panicked! My 'boys' in the hangar in Lagos did a job on the engine cowlings from a BN Islander many years ago. If you have used stripper, then its MOST important to thoroughly wash before painting. Tony
Thanks for the tip, will wash very well after stripping...i guess the stripper would play havoc with the new paint..
Started doing all the small bits.. On Friday the blaster is coming to do the bits I cant get to on the body.
