Oh him I never liked the inward looking git Stamp his Passport and all the other Brexiteers With an X All Passport holders with an X go in the slow queue when entering EU Airports etc Just to p them off
I did think of voting labour cos I would benefit from the big giveaway, wouldn't have to pay for the kids to go to university if they wanted to go, wouldn't have to sell me house if I went bonkers and better still I wouldn't have to pay for any of it, my lazy kids would, it would have been win win!!!
certainly is dicky though i didn,t hear of any dup supporters blowing up people in brighton and birmingham
The difference was the the Protestant loyalists mainly went after the IRA, whereas Corbyn friends indiscriminately bombed men, women, children, horses, and young postmen
The whole thing stinks. How can they be allowed to govern like that in bed with the IRA the Queen needs a kick up the jacksie if she agreed to it.
Democracy my friend, democracy! Labour now have a very strong leader & opposition which is better than they could have hoped for when the election was announced. What I am seeing now are all the failings of the toriy cabinet being highlighted...... Funny how it's after the election!
What happens now then? So we've got the tories that don't have a majority without doing a deal with the dup... Not all tory MPs will vote with the party on any given subject... Corbyn wouldn't have majority even if he did a deal with everyone else bar the tories... How can a government actually function now? Also, how can Corbyn still seemingly believe he can be PM?
the thing is the ira mps will not take up their seats in westminster ( they still go and register etc cause they still take the benefits)_ this means the tories on their own v the rest is a dead heat
Corbyn is saying he's ready to be pm, stop me if I'm wrong but I thought you had to win an election first
Ok I'll stop you then. To win an election under our archaic First Past the Post system a party needs 326 seats to have an absolute majority, if no one gets the required number then the largest party can then try to form a government with other parties(e.g. the proposed Tory/DUP thing). If that fails to materialise then potentially Labour could try to form a minority government with the other parties, thus putting Corbyn in no.10. However, it must be said in this case the numbers don't particularly add up to make that very likely. I know you'll disagree but technically the Conservatives didn't WIN this election, they happen to be the party with the most seats. Not the same thing. I can't see any other scenario than yet another election in a few months
me too! But then again we're only the electorate! What do we know. They keep asking us questions and we keep giving the wrong answers
Wouldn't it be great for us on the TLB if there was a Labour/ conservative coalition where they all just got on, obviously with Mrs May as Pm,
