its purely just the antenna ring around the outside of it. it is removable but they dont seem to work properly once removed. easier to keep it like it is, plus then i can just remove the key as an actual immobiliser!!
Ah right, yes I see. I was considering doing similar, but thought the master cylinder was hanging a bit low as mine is lowered a couple of inches at the front. I might have another look to see if its a possibility
More wiring work done tonight. Grommet drilled through the wheel well into the engine bay. Separate wiring loom made for the fans. All seems to take ages but I want it looking almost like a factory finish. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Your nearly always best using the original bushes that are inside the tube The new ones available are crap
yep kept the roiginals as they were all complete and perfectly fine, annoyingly i had already bought new ones so that was 20 quid wasted!!
That's the problem with trying to pre plan what parts you may need for a job Can you not send them back for a refund? I've pmd you through tapatalk but not sure if it's gone through?
More wiring work done: Main wiring loom brought through wheel well into engine bay, separate loom made up for fan wiring, fuel pump wiring and 7 core loom made for tellbacks in the dash(immobiliser light, check engine light, rev counter and water temp) Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
I am taking my time somewhat as I am waiting for my gearbox mount to be done. Once that is fine I can mount the gearbox and them fix the engine mount in place too. Then it will be a case of fitting gearbox and engine for real. Hopefully I can get everything else done so that it is fairly straight forward after that!! Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
How's the conversion going ... or have you transferred to a different thread? Just filled up for the first time and really pleased to see 29.9 mpg over the last 250 miles.
