Theresa May loses televised debate shocker

  1. I didn't say that. Think I've said no end of times im not a member of the jezzer fan club and the D word is banned in our house. I vote for the party that best represents my views and outlook on life and which most broadly fits my sense of morality whilst trying to actually make a vote which has some validity. That said my MP I believe to be honourable, represents my views and works hard for her constituency. Ive also met her and discussed issues with her and respect her views. Shes also originally from my home town so that helps too lol!

I don't agree that all politicians are liars cheats and other such undesirables.

    Probably the latter.

BTW I have a particularly difficult interview tomorrow, do you think Amber Rudd will deputise for me?

  3. You will examine your conscience when you look back at the outcomes of the next Tory government. I hope I'm wrong and just a died in the wool lefty agitator but the signs are all there as to how detrimental it will be to public services. National Health Service blah blah. Respect for making an informed choice btw. I just think its the wrong one.

    Not just you Chris,
The vitriol that some people are spouting on arsebook is quite amusing. Its funnier because I know you're / they're all sound in real life!

  9. I write too much and it still often isn't enough to explain what I mean. For example... watch the news, especially local news people. They go out normally during the day to vox-pop people in the street on the issue of the day. invariably, due to the fact most of us are at work during the day, are people that don't work. They do seem to find people that aren't at work for a reason. I was going to list some of those reasons but wont... anyway , so they are working age and don't work or retired and wandering around some provincial town centre. Their views, or indeed the spread of their views, or indeed the level of their ability to express their views very rarely fits in with my experience with friends and colleagues. I'm unsure as to how they select these people, how they edit the interview or how they decide what to broadcast but the outcome usually leaves me "concerned" that this information was deemed fit to broadcast and may or may not influence people but the fascist in me actually treats it as an advert for a selective cull but then my rational mind then muses that most of them don't or wont vote but if they do its probably for "brexit" or UKIP or "strong and stable". an do you know why that is..... its because the rights fought for by the Trades Unions and the Labour Party and to an extent the Liberal Party over the years has put these doley dossin scumbags in their comfort zones so they don't have to go out and do a days work and they still go on about foreigners comeing over here taking our jobs.... in fact vote tory, screw the unemployed and old people. screw the NHS, less people, less of a problem. sooner were out of Europe the better so we can send all those European doctors and nurses home and plumbers and whatnot that come here doing our jobs for us that we cant be arsed to do. we can get all the scumbags off their arses. I will be more than happy to be attended to on my next trip to A+E by some overweight 60 a day ex doley crack head half wit that thinks Paul Nuttal should be prime minister..........

Arse - it was going so well too. I'm off to get some medication

A few points if I may:
    - Has anyone said that we'll be sending European doctors and nurses home?
    - I have no issue whatsoever screwing those that are unemployed because they've decided to be unemployed. I can't understand why anyone would have an issue with it.

You really need to lighten up.
I have said before I could never vote Tory due to what they did to industry.
But at the back of my mind I cant help feeling they want to lose as whoever gets in has a tough job to sort everything out.
Dont think there are going to be any winners in this one.

  17. I suspect a few of the politicians might do alright out of it.

  18. That's similar to myself, I have changed which party I have voted for many times now. I do generally have left leanings politically however this time, to my way of thinking, Corbyn is too far left and I just cant vote for him.

I do not believe his manifesto is deliverable, and it appears that he is simply trying to buy his way into No.10 with promises of things that are unaffordable. Cost wise it will affect more than the £80k+ earners, from what I understand their plans are also based upon raising corporation tax rates, as the companies move abroad to cheaper countries for taxation purpose the costs and budget deficit will snowball out of control and the tax demands will over the course of the parliament trickle down from the £80k earners to the lower tax earners.

We could then end up broke like Greece.

I also have doubts about the people behind him, almost everytime I hear one being on interviewed on the radio they seem to be unprepared and do not have the information to back up the plans Diane Abbot is the obvious one for this but I have also heard awful interviews on the radio with Rebecca Long-Bailey and Angela Rayner. It just leaves me with no confidence at all in them. And I know that the Tories are leaving out information on purpose but with Labour it just seems like they do not know the information rather than leaving it out on purpose.
