Very rare we use our sink in theT4 and never use the tap, Only time I ever used the sink in my bay was for p1ssing in during the night

Well, i've just done the photos and the paperwork as per the dept. of transport advice and sent the v5 off with change of vehicle section filled in as "motor caravan" and "5 seats" fingers crossed it takes about 3 weeks according to others that have done it.

 

So, as per above post I did pictures of what the dvla requested, you have to prove you have the option of fresh water so I just put a jerry can next to the gas bottle but in reality my waste catching jerry will go there, when I did the worktop hole for the sink I took the back out of the unit on the left to get the sink in and it had been bugging me how much wasted space was behind there, so today I've had a bit of a re-jig, there's now a 10 litre waste which fits snug by the gas and I've made a false front and added a shelf to stop stuff getting lost behind, this takes just a few seconds to remove to empty the waste and change the gas. Here's the original picture I took for dvla.


And because I'd got more space there I had a go at the right one, made some fillets for the edges and a bigger floor and shelf, lots more space and a job well done.

I really wish I'd took my time a bit more originally as I don't think it's that bad really.... Still cost me £0.00 - even the waste jerry was from work - it had self levelling latex in.

 

now go back out and sort those door magnet catches

Nice job that Ricky, new found skills ready for interior #2. Let's face it with all the stuff you can lay your hands on at work you should be on a prize winning interior by #4, each one slightly better made and better designed than the one before it.
