    Yesterday I managed to complete 3 funding bids with zero help from those who should have done the work. :rolleyes: my job is rapidly descending into a paper abyss. I should be head to toe in glitter, singing Nativity songs and acting as a stand in for the second shepherd with the walking stick crook. Education is more about documentation, costed provision and appearing to be busy. :(

    Yesterday I decided that I rather liked the idea of working from home, a lot of people are doing it these days, so I thought I'd give it a go, as im a Taxi driver I didn't make any money, so I won't be doing that again

    So far i have dropped the wife off at work., it is going to be a busy day.

    1. drop wife at work
    2. drop youngest at school
    3. check and maybe buy new car battery
    4. drop car off for MOT
    5. work on fitting new beam to Bus
    6. maybe collect car from MOT
    7. leave early to collect new camping trailer (1 1/2 hours away)
    8. drive back with trailer
    9. collect youngest from school
    10. make Dinner/Tea
    11. collect middle daughter from school after football match
    12. collect wife from work
    13. complete installation of beam
    14. check other car is ok for MOt tomorrow

    in between all that i will be drinking large amounts of Tea

    We went out for dinner last night and both decided to have a drink. Today I got up at 7 so we could get the pick up we left in town last night. After 7.30 it's a bus lane. We got there at 7.30 and the only vehicle parked up still :). I'm now back in bed diluting my hangover with tea :)

    Feel as though I've done some real work today after being ground down by forms. I recorded our Nativity today, complete with Mary and the inn keeper having a bust up over who was going to hold the baby jesus (doll version), nose picking angels, miserable shepherd and the star role, a three week old baby brother. All children and staff bribed with chocolate buttons and gingerbread. And it all happens again this afternoon! Just the big edit now and burning 55 copies.

    it just heightens Its Teds theory that everyone on here is either very perverse or ruddy bonkers.

    Glad I got out when I did - 12 years retired now - hurrah!

    Just finished defrosting the 2 freezers to make way for Christmas stuff. The job was made much quicker using an Aldi steam cleaner
